Botox

Approved by the US FDA for cosmetic applications, Botox helps prevent

wrinkles and decrease the appearance of frown lines by paralyzing the

muscles in the face. While it can take up to two weeks for full results,

patients usually see visible results within three to five days. 

 

Xeomin

Similar to Botox, Xeomin is a neurotoxic protein that prevents muscle

contraction, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Strictly comprised

of botulinum toxin type A, Xeomin is free from additives. This, in theory, makes

Xeomin more effective than Botox because the body builds up less resistance to the

injection. For this, Xeomin is known as a cost effective alterantive to Botox.
